Taylor completed her Bachelor’s degree at Purdue University and Master’s at Indiana
University. She worked as a pediatric speech pathologist in elementary schools and
private practice, with kids ranging from 6 weeks-18 years. Incorporating a child’s
strengths into therapy and watching them grow in their confidence, communication, and
connection with others is my favorite part of being a speech therapist. She believes that
speech, language, and communication is best fostered through natural interactions and
connections. Incorporating families and individual interests into therapy is a key part in
the growth and development of a child’s communication.
Taylor has experience treating and evaluating speech sound disorders, fluency,
receptive/expressive language, and social skills. She is also passionate about the use
of alternative/augmentative communication methods (AAC) and sign language as a
way to support and foster meaningful connections.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, yoga, baking, reading, and spending time with her fiancé and our cats!
